Terms of service
Draft for legal review. Not yet published or binding.
These terms govern use of PlateLedger, a product operated by Gray-Works Technologies & Solutions LLC ("PlateLedger", "we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these terms, on behalf of yourself and the organization you represent. Questions: sales@plateledger.pro.
Free trial
New organizations get a 14-day free trial with full features, 20 menu items and 1 location. Choose a plan before the trial ends to keep your account active; without one, the trial ends and access pauses until you pick a plan.
Subscription and billing
Paid plans bill monthly, in advance, through Stripe. Plan names, prices and limits are shown on our pricing page and may change with notice. Changing plans takes effect immediately and Stripe prorates the difference for the current billing period.
Cancellation
Cancel any time from Settings → Billing, through the Stripe customer portal. Your access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for; we don't provide partial refunds for unused time.
Acceptable use
Use PlateLedger for your own restaurant or foodservice operations. Don't attempt to access another organization's data, resell or sublicense the service, reverse-engineer the app, or use it to store data you don't have the right to store.
Your data
You own the data you put into PlateLedger. We process it to run the service as described in our privacy policy.
Service availability
We aim for reliable uptime but don't guarantee an uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance and outages at a third-party provider we depend on — your POS, our payment processor, or our email provider — can affect availability.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, PlateLedger and Gray-Works Technologies & Solutions LLC are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data, arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate an account for violating these terms, non-payment, or misuse of the service. You can close your account at any time from Settings → Billing.
Governing law

We'll post updates here and note the effective date. Continuing to use PlateLedger after a change means you accept the updated terms.
