A menu item is a mapped POS item or variation with a recipe. Limits apply when you map an item and when you add a location.
Before you start
How long is the trial?
14 days with every feature, 20 menu items and one location. At the end it converts to Starter if you add a card, or simply stops.
What counts as a menu item?
A POS item or variation that you have mapped to a recipe. Items your POS sends that you leave unmapped do not count. A "Large" variation mapped with a 1.5 × multiplier is one item.
Can I change plans?
Any time, from Settings → Billing, which opens the Stripe billing portal. If you move to a plan with lower limits while over them, you will be asked to unmap items or deactivate locations first.
How do I cancel?
Settings → Billing opens the Stripe billing portal, where you cancel in two clicks. You keep access to the end of the period you have paid for. No calls, no forms.
Can I get my data out?
Yes. Every report exports CSV, and an owner can create an API key and pull ingredients, recipes, ledger rows, orders and counts from the API.
What does Enterprise add?
Unlimited items and locations, a custom POS integration if yours is not listed, single sign-on, and a service-level agreement. Email sales@plateledger.pro.
